Gas Buddy Price Map & Area Fueling Tips
First, understand that the most excellent State of Illinois is quite a bit more expensive when it comes to gas than neighboring Missouri. Blame it on taxes! Having said that we always can’t choose to drive 20 miles into Missouri to safely get gas, especially if you are driving an RV, big truck or your tank is sucking fumes! There really are no good or safe places to gas in Missouri along I-70 until you are past the airport which is about 25 miles! The same is to be said about I-64/US40 where the first visible gas station is when you start coming up on Hanley Rd and that is a traffic mess as well as not very RV or large truck friendly!
So here are a few tips on where to get gas in Illinois if you miss the three exits that serve Collinsville, IL or are on I-64.

Gas Buddy Map information is based on volunteers reporting prices. All information here is subject to the volatility of fuel prices in the Collinsville, Illinois area. Typically most gas stations in the region of I-55/70 and I-64 with the regular exception of the BP stations in Caseyville at Rte 157 & 1-64, stay within a few cents of each other. the Caseyville BP station, especially the one south if I-64 near the McDonald’s is typically the highest priced station adjacent to the interstates.
Area Travel Tips near Collinsville and Caseyville, IL
If you travel a 1/2 up Rte. 157, north of I-64 in Caseyville, there is a less expensive, Phillips 64 station on the southbound (left side). It is not RV friendly! Even the BP north of I-64, (and the Hardee’s), is typically cheaper! This BP which is a former “Huck’s” station has more supplies than the other stations in Caseyville that offer easy interstate access as well. For more grocery type supplies, drive about 2 miles north on rte 157 into quaint Caseyville to the IGA. The BP at Old Collinsville Rd and I-255 near Jack in the Box is also pretty reasonable and across from a great store for travelers seeking RV and other supplies, “Rural King”. There is also a Shop and Save near Rural King and that parking lot has lots of available parking for larger RVs.
